Queen Latifah coming back to the rap game.This girl is ready to take over. Successful actress and CoverGirl model, Queen Latifah is ready to take her spot as the Queen of Rap. Beginning her career in rap over 20 years ago, The Queen is prepping her return to the scene. Her album "Persona" is expected to hit stores August 25th, and we got a sneak peek at 3 of the songs coming off the LP. Some of you may have heard her on Lady Gaga's PokerFace remix, which I thought was wonderful. The CD is featuring appearance by Mary J. Blige, Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliott, and more.
I don't see this being a massive hit for Queen La, however it is a solid effort. At age 39, she definitely still has a powerful voice and good style to add to the rap game right now.
Also, be sure to check out the standout RnB track Cue the Rain. It's definitely the business right now.
